Delivery Terms by Carrier
Who pays the delivery fees? 💸 The delivery price is charged to the buyer. The seller can contribute to the delivery by enabling turbo.
What are the pickup timelines? 2 to 4 weeks (6 weeks for Switzerland) from the day the order is validated. During this period, the announced time slot may change according to the constraints of our carriers' regional routes and your availability.
What are the delivery times? 2 to 6 weeks (8 weeks for Switzerland) from the date your order is confirmed by your sales representative. During this period, the estimated delivery window may change depending on the regional delivery schedules of our carriers and the availability of your sales representative and yourself.
How to obtain the pickup voucher? 🔖 Once delivery is validated by Selency, we will send you a pickup voucher to the email address associated with your Selency account. Be sure to attach it to the parcel(s) to be collected by the carrier. Remember to attach it to each parcel and number them.
Under what conditions is the pickup performed?
As a seller, you have several responsibilities regarding delivery by Selency:
Pack your product properly and securely
Make the product available to the carrier: it must be placed in front of your address. Note that our routes operate with a single delivery person and it is the carrier, not a mover. If you need help, do not hesitate to ask us; we will consult our partner.
Attach pickup vouchers to the packaged products: if the product is disassembled into several packages to facilitate transport, it is necessary to attach a numbered pickup voucher to each package (clearly number: 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, for example). Do not forget to include a note for your buyer to help them reassemble the furniture. 🧩
Your pickup address: if it is likely to change, please contact us as soon as possible to inform the carrier. If the distance between the two pickup addresses is too large, we may charge you an extra fee.
Under what conditions is delivery made?
It is your responsibility to ensure that the dimensions of your elevator or stairwell allow you to transport the furniture to your home.
To facilitate transport, your item may sometimes arrive disassembled; this is rare. The carrier will not be able to help you reassemble the furniture.
Remember to check the condition of the delivered product in the presence of the carrier. If you notice any damage to your order, you must notify the carrier by making a note on the delivery slip. Making this note is a prerequisite for filing a claim with our team.
