Send, Accept, or Decline an Offer
If, at the time of the product publication, the seller has allowed price negotiation for the product, then customers may send offers. Otherwise, only the seller can send offers.
The seller may send offers to a potential buyer either:
following the product being added to favorites from notifications in the messaging system: the seller can start a conversation
in the messaging system within an existing conversation
We suggest customers offer -5% off the price, but a customer is free to make an offer up to -30% off the price. However, as a seller, you have the option to make an offer beyond a 30% discount.
An offer is valid for 72 hours. If no response is made within 72 hours, the offer is cancelled. A new offer can be sent by either the buyer or the seller.
If the offer is acceptable to the seller, it must be accepted. In this case, the customer has 72 hours to purchase the product at this price. After 72 hours, the offer is cancelled.
If the offer is not acceptable to the seller, they may reject it and make a counter-offer (or a new offer). In this case, the customer then has 72 hours to accept or reject it.
